Abstract:
Verstehen Sie Spass? was the title of a one-week teaching format for master’s students training to teach visual arts at the upper secondary level. The focus lay on the performativity of works of art, which was largely experienced and discussed using performative strategies. On the basis of the three-part scheme, create, perform, and reflect, the teaching format is explained, its framework conditions and characteristics analyzed, and possible applications within school and extracurricular teaching outlined.
