Helena Schmidt is a postdoc at the Academy of Fine Art Vienna’s Institute for Education in the Arts. Her dissertation From poor image to poor images: Digital Didactics in Art Education was produced under the supervision of Elke Krasny and received two awards: the “Award of Excellence,” an Austrian state prize given to the best dissertations each year (2023), and the Academy of Fine Art Vienna’s Honorary Award for Scientific Works (2022/2023).
