Jacqueline Baum studied fine arts at the Pratt Institute in New York and has participated in exhibitions in the USA and Switzerland. She was previously a lecturer at the HFK’s Art Education program. As one half of the artist duo Baum/Jakob, she was joint recipient of the 2011 SAM Art Award, awarded for their research project Kunstvermittlung in Transformation. She is director of the preparatory course at Biel, where she is currently implementing initial strategies for ecologically oriented art education.
