Lena Hoppenkamps (no pronouns) is an art and cultural educator and artist and works for the Kunstverein Braunschweig and the Bern Academy of Arts (HKB). Lena is interested in artistic strategies of resistance and experimental educational formats, such as radio and social projects. Some of Lena’s artworks appeared in recent exhibitions at the Konsumverein Braunschweig and the Cantonale Bern Jura. The focus of Lena’s work is on materialist queer-feminism, political narratives in education, and performativity in the digital space. Lena also sings in the electro-punk band Fenster 95.
