Mirko Winkel is an artist, curator, and co-ordinator of the mLAB at the University of Bern’s Institute of Geography (mlab.unibe.ch), an experimental space that encourages the development of new forms of collaborative and collective work. He also works as an artistic-academic assistant at the Bern Academy of Arts’ EcoArtLab (ecoartlab.ch/) and the City of Bern’s Commission for Art in Public Space. His work spans performances, videos, maps, conversation formats, and improvement proposals.
