Samuel Rauber completed a bachelor’s degree at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art, before subsequently training as a secondary-level art teacher at the Zurich University of the Arts. He now works as a secondary school teacher, artist, and freelance curator in Bern. From 2018 to 2023 he was a member of the art and music collective Boyband CHIC, which he and David Brenzger have subsequently continued as Kollektiv Nostal Chic. He has worked as a co-curator at the SUBSTRAT project space and Sattelkammer off space in Bern, and at Jungkunst Winterthur.
