Havin Al-Sindy was born and raised in the Kurdish autonomous region in Iraq. She studied biology, chemistry, and art. She completed her master’s degree at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart and the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in 2018 and currently works as an administrative professor at the HBK Braunschweig.
