Art Society Education
Abstract:
In three video works, Luise Ramm seeks artistic answers to social issues in educational contexts, raising new questions along the way. The works are made up of performative elements and each deal with one of three terms: art, society, and education. The starting point for the videos is the sphere of the cultural agent, both generally and specifically in the case of Mariano Gaich, who is interviewed. Each video is around five minutes long and features a performance linked to an accompanying audio track, made up of a series of vivid statements and terms. As a viewer, you are invited to find out what these videos trigger in you: which intersections between education, art, and society interest you? What sort of frameworks do they require? And which questions move you when you think about art, education, and society?
