Alejandro Cevallos
, studied arts at the Universidad Central del Ecuador (Central University of Ecuador), as well as visual anthropology and ethnographic documentary at the Facultad Latinoamericana de Sciencias Sociales (Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences). From 2011-2016 he coordinated the Community Research and Mediation Department of the Foundation Museos de la Ciudad. He is currently active in various cultural institutions and organizations for indigenous popular commerce in Quito and developing a research on practices and discourses regarding Ecuador’s popular, intercultural and community education. He is a member of the network Another Roadmap School and a community educator in the workshop “Mujeres Bordando en el Mercado San Roque” (“Stitching Women at the Market San Roque”).
