Ayşe Güleç

is an educator, researcher, and activist who works at the intersection of anti-racism, art, art mediation, and migration. From 1998 to 2016, she worked at the sociocultural center Schlachthof Kassel, where she led its educational program on migration and was responsible for networking. She developed the advisory board for documenta 12, subsequently becoming its spokesperson and assisting its projects. For documenta 13, she helped train art mediators as a member of the Maybe Education program. From 2016 to 2017, she was responsible for documenta 14’s community liaison, creating connections between artists, artworks, art mediators, and sociopolitical contexts. For documenta fifteen, she was a curator in the Artistic Team. She was actively involved in the collective Unravelling the NSU-Komplex movement, including coordinating its Tribunal.
